EDP São Paulo is recognized as the best Concessionaire in the Southeast

Distributor was also elected as the third best in the country; Research is conducted annually by Abradee with the participation of large consumers

Mogi das Cruzes, January 03, 2018 - EDP S‹o Paulo was recognized by its biggest consumers as the best distributor of electric power in the Southeast and the third best in the country through the Index of Satisfaction with Perceived Quality (ISQP) from the Brazilian Association of Electricity Distributors (Abradee).

The assessment, carried out annually, establishes the level of satisfaction of the biggest customers (A1, A2, A3, A3a, A4) with the quality of the product and services provided by Brazilian distributors. Based on that, indices are generated that allow for the comparison of the results among participating concessionaires. In all, 18 companies were evaluated between July and November of 2017.

The CEO of EDP S‹o Paulo, Marney Antunes, points out that being well evaluated by the consumers themselves is the best prize that can be received. "Our investments and continuous improvements are always planned, taking into account the needs of The Distributor. The objective is to seek excellence in the delivery of services to everyoneÓ.

Other Recognitions

In June 2017, EDP S‹o Paulo was recognized as the best electric energy distributor in the category of Operational Management with the 2017 Abradee Award, the highest award in the electric energy distribution sector in Brazil. The concessionaire was honored for its performance in recovery and mitigation of losses, system quality, work safety, billing quality, defaults and customer attention quality.

The Company competed for the award with 48 other energy concessionaires around the whole country that provide services to more than 500 thousand customers.

In the last few months of the year, EDP S‹o Paulo also received two large national awards for its customer relationship practices, the Brazilian Ombudsman Award, granted by Abrarec (Brazilian Association of Company Customer Relations) in partnership with ABO (Brazilian Association of Ombudsmen), and the XVII ABT Award by Garrido Marketing and the IBMR -Brazilian Institute of Relationship Marketing.
