Distribution Networks
An energy legacy
Our history with energy networks in Brazil began in the 1990s, when we won the energy concession from the former ESCELSA (Espírito Santo Centrais Elétricas S/A) in 1995.
In 1998, we entered the São Paulo electricity sector, controlling what was then Bandeirante Energia, the energy distributor for the regions of Alto Tietê, Vale do Paraíba, Litoral Norte and São Paulo's second largest city, Guarulhos. In this city alone, we serve 0.5 million customers.
