EDP is recognized as among the best distributors in the Country
EDP, the electric power distributor from Esp’rito Santo, is one of the three largest distribution companies in the South and Southeast of Brazil according to the IASC Award - Aneel Index of Customer Satisfaction. The award ceremony, granted annually by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), recognizes the best evaluated companies based on the perception of residential consumers.

To select the winners, 24,926 clients of 540 municipalities, served by 101 concessionaires and licensees, were interviewed. The trophy was handed to the winners Wednesday (23), in Bras’lia.

In order to guarantee users" satisfaction, the company has reinforced investments in the area of distribution and expanded relationship channels over the last years. Since 2014, more than R$500 million has been invested in the expansion, modernization and maintenance of the network in the state.ÊWith the growth of the amount of customers served, the company has also created new means of communication with consumers, such as SMS, aimed at requests and reports of energy outages.

Released annually by ANEEL since 2000, the IASC survey portrays the degree of consumer satisfaction regarding the quality of services provided by the electric energy distributors, with the purpose of stimulating the search for continuous improvement from the consumer perspective. Since 2002, the agency awards the best distributors from the survey.
