EDP has a new address in Guaratinguetá

Consumer Week is celebrated with a new, more modern and comfortable service agency

Guaratinguetá, March 14, 2018 - In Consumer Week, EDP, the electricity distributor of the Paraíba Valley, presents its new service agency in the Municipality of Guaratinguetá. With an larger and more comfortable atmosphere, the station will meet the demands of customers with more technology, convenience and agility. The old unit has been disabled.



At the distributor planned the space according to the needs of the region, such as the volume of customers served, construction standards, and accessibility. In addition to the attendants, to optimize and streamline requests, automated tokens, and tablets will be available to perform the most requested services, which can also be performed on the mobile application and the EDP Online portal. Among the most frequent requests are a second way to make withdrawals for payment, the consultation of debits and consumption, cadastral update, reading reports, changes to the maturity date, and registration in the automatic debit system.



O ther services, such as enrollment in the benefit of the Electricity Social Tax, which grants a discount to the accounts of low-income families, and email receipt of bills may also be requested.



At the new Guaratinguetá branch is the third unit that EDP has inaugurated in the concession area in the first quarter of 2018, providing an even better customer experience, in line with the concept of service that integrates technology and comfort. "It a double celebration, since in Consumer Week we are delivering our clients better structure to accommodate them as fully as possible," says Marney Antunes, CEO of EDP São Paulo.

Energy Efficiency Letter of Intent



In partnership with the Guaratinguetá City Hall, EDP also signed a letter of intent for the implementation of energy efficiency projects in the city during the year of 2018. These are:




Good Solar Energy- Project that provides for the replacement of electric showers by solar heating system (collector plates, reservoirs, smart showers and all the required infrastructure) for customers in vulnerable situations, as well as the delivery of kits with LED bulbs, which are more economical;

Good Energy in Schools- Project consisting of training of the faculty of public school schools, based on the PROCEL Education methodology, with the aim of promoting awareness in the school community. It encourages students to be agents multiplying concepts of the efficient and safe use of energy.
