Sponsorship of EDP Brazil to Experimenta Portugal'17 reinforces cultural exchange between countries | EDP Brasil

The cultural and artistic exchange between Brazil and Portugal is undergoing a moment of intense rediscovery and EDP Brazil, one of the largest investors of Portuguese origin in the country, has been actively participating in this process. The Company sponsors the third edition of the Experimenta Portugal"17, which will bring to S‹o Paulo the best of Portugal in terms of exhibitions, music, wines, sports and literature.

Within the program of Experimenta"17, as of June 24, EDP will promote the exhibition "Collections in Dialogue: Museu Nacional De Soares dos Reis and Pinacoteca of S‹o Paulo", which will bring to the Pinacoteca do Estado part of the collection of the first public art museum in Portugal. For the Company, the show is a representative milestone of all the initiatives that the company is undertaking to stimulate the sharing of art and culture and treasure the Portuguese language, the fifth most spoken in the world.

The great opening of Experimenta"17 Portugal will be on June 10th, when it is celebrated the Day of Portugal, Cam›es and of Portuguese Communities. To celebrate the date, the singer Gisela Jo‹o will perform at the Municipal Theater of S‹o Paulo.

In addition to sponsoring Experimenta Portugal, the Company has become the Master Sponsor of the restoration of the Museum of the Portuguese Language, in S‹o Paulo, and this year will be the sponsor of the 15th edition of Flip - International Literature Party of Paraty.
