The sixth edition of the EDP University Challenge is now open for registration

EDP competition promotes higher education and offers awards of up to R$16,000; projects must be submitted by April 22

The sixth edition of the EDP University Challenge is now open for registration. The competition, organized by EDP - a company within the EDP Group - is targeted at Business Administration, Marketing, and Communication students across the country. The purpose of the initiative is to encourage students to create innovative solutions for social and educational programs developed by the company.

"Through practice, university students experience what they learn in the classroom, shaping their personal and professional growth while also helping us reach the largest number of people with our message on responsible energy use," says Miguel Setas, CEO of the company.

This year challenge is organized into two topics: "Responsible electricity consumption" and "Customer service quality and satisfaction".During the first stage candidates must create a team and register it on the EDP website by April 22 (http://www.edp.com.br).

The next step is to create a project based on one of the company socio-environmental programs: EDP in Schools, Good Energy in the Community, Good Energy in Schools, and InovCity. Proposals must be submitted by June 23.

The winning project will be awarded R$16,000, while the supervisor will receive R$8,000. The second-ranking team will receive R$8,000, and the respective teacher will receive R$4,000. For online registrations and more information on the challenge stages, visit the website www.edp.com.br.
