Run! It's not too late to sign up your band for EDP Live Bands Brasil
Registrations open until March 22, 2016
The EDP Live Bands website (edplivebands.edp.com.br) welcome registrations from pop/rock bands until March 22, 2016. The big winner will record a CD at Sony Music Brasil and perform at NOS Alive"16, one of the most important music festivals in Europe.
To participate, just submit an original song, free of charge, and tell your friends to listen to your band, vote, and share it on social media! Join the Top Voted Bands at edplivebands.edp.com.br. They come from Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Alagoas, among other states, and together they have scored over 15,000 votes to date.
Fans can vote during the first round (until April 1st) to select the 36 semifinalists. And they can also vote in the next round together with the jury. Out of the 36 bands, 8 finalists will be selected from April 11th to the 30th.
Everything will happen online until the grand finale, which will be held in São Paulo on June 4th, at the Unibes Cultural Auditorium, with live performances by the bands. The jury, consisting of partners and guests, will choose the big winner.

February 23: Beginning of registrations and voting

April 1: End of 1st voting round
April 5: Announcement of the 36 semifinalists
April 11: Beginning of 2nd voting round - Online semifinal
April 30: End of 2nd voting round
May 11: Announcement of the 8 finalist bands
June 4: Grand finale with live performances by the bands and announcement of the big winner.
