Miguel Setas voted one of the 100 Most Influential Personalities in the Energy Sector
The CEO of EDP Brasil was recognized for his leading role in evolving the generation and production segments
Miguel Setas is one of the 100 most influential executives in the electrical sector according to Full Energy magazine, which recognized the CEO of EDP Brasil in the Generation and Production category. The awards honor the professionals in the Brazilian energy market who stood out the most throughout the year in different areas.
The distinction recognizes the CEO leading role in improving the company performance in several segments, with emphasis on the Generation area, as in recent years EDP has broken the paradigm of delays in this segment and completed three hydroelectric plants before schedule: Santo Ant™nio do Jari, Cachoeira Caldeir‹o and, more recently, S‹o Manoel.
Held by Full Energy magazine, the award for the 100 most influential personalities in the energy industry, which had its first edition in 2016, is already one of the major events in the sector. The award comprises 20 categories and spans the entire electricity value chain, such as Public Personality, Sectoral Organizations, Innovation, People and Management, among others.
