Thursday 15, December 2016

Interested parties will have until the 21st of this month to submit their proposals

Consumers with improvement projects that promote energy efficiency have until next Wednesday (the 21st) to sign up for the Call for Submissions at EDP, a company that operates in the areas of electric energy generation, distribution, commercialization and solutions.

Through the initiative, the company will provide a total of R$9.7 million to encourage proposals that reduce energy consumption in residences, commerce, industries, public buildings and the private concession areas of the company in S‹o Paulo and Esp’rito Santo. The program benefits legal entities that propose improvement or replacement of electrical installations, equipment and control systems that use electricity.

Entries must be submitted at the Post Office or delivered personally at the headquarters of EDP (S‹o Paulo - Gomes de Carvalho Street, 1996 - 9th floor). The projects will be evaluated by a judging committee formed by employees from the company, as specified in the Energy Efficiency Program Procedures (PROPEE), issued by the National Electric Power Agency (ANEEL). Chosen projects will be published on January 27th.
