Last call to sign up your band for EDP Live Bands Brasil
Until March 22, bands from all over Brazil will be able to sign up for the EDP rock/pop band competition
EDP Live Bands Brasil - a music competition designed to showcase rock/pop bands and introduce them to the music scene, in partnership with Everything is New, Sony Music Brazil, FNAC, and Banco Caixa Geral - is on the final stretch of the registration stage.
To compete for the recording of a CD and the opportunity to perform at one of the hottest music festivals in Europe - NOS Alive"16 in Portugal - just go to edplivebands.edp.com.br and sign up until March 22.
Independent bands from all over the country can sign up, free of charge, with original songs. After the registration deadline, fans can continue to vote on their favorite bands until April 1st and access the audio and video content available on the site.
On April 5, the organization will announce the 36 bands that will advance to the semifinal, when they will have the opportunity to show a little more of their work by uploading another original song and a video of the band. In the second voting round, which will be held from April 11 to April 30, the 8 finalists will be selected by the public and by a jury consisting of representatives from EDP, Everything Is New, Sony and FNAC, as well as actor Ricardo Pereira.
The final round will be held in São Paulo on June 4 at the Unibes Cultural Auditorium. The event will feature live performances by the bands, and the jury will select the big winner. But before the grand finale there will be a career management workshop for all finalists, attended by the jury members, where experts will share career management advice for the competitive world of art.
