EDP wins ALAS20 Award for the second time
The company was recognized for its leadership in Sustainability, Corporate Governance, and Investor Relations
For the second year in a row, EDP Brasil, a company engaged in all segments of the electricity value chain, has received the ALAS20 (Sustainability Leaders Agenda 2020) Grand Prize. The award is a recognition for the company environmental, social and corporate management performance.
In addition to the 1st place in the ALAS20 Brazil and ALAS20 Latin America categories, EDP has also excelled in five other categories: Leading Company and CEO in Sustainability, Leadership in Corporate Governance and Investor Relations, and Sustainability Board.
ALAS20 is a unique initiative in Latin America, with local editions in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. The award, which evaluates, ranks and recognizes outstanding results in the dissemination of public information pertaining to good sustainability, investor relations and governance practices, is held by GovernArt, a consulting firm specializing in sustainability and responsible investments.
