EDP supports Christmas Illuminated in Aparecida
For the 12th consecutive year, the distributor is present in the National Shrine festivities
Next Saturday, November 26, the National Shrine of Aparecida starts the year-end festivities with the opening of Illuminated Christmas. EDP, the electricity distributor for the regions of Alto do Tiet, Vale do Para’ba and Litoral Norte has been supporting this initiative for 12 years, transforming the basilica and its surroundings with lights and colors to celebrate the Christmas period.
This year, the traditional North Garden will be decorated with one million micro LED bulbs, which will delight visitors in a setting, which is ideal to be photographed and admired.
For the opening of the Illuminated Christmas, at 8:00 p.m., the Saint Mass will be celebrated, at which time EDP collaborating electricians will enter with the image of the patroness Our Lady of Aparecida. At 9:00 p.m., there will be a procession for the blessing of the nativity scene. Finally, the Christmas lights will be lit and there will be fireworks.
