EDP Stands Out for its Corporate Governance Abrasca Award 2015
The award recognizes the transparency and commitment of the Group with its stakeholders
EDP, which operates in the areas of the generation, distribution and marketing of electricity, was one of the awarded companies in the 17th Abrasca Prize, granted by the Brazilian Association of Publicly-Held Companies, which has evaluated the best annual reports since 1999.
The Company was recognized for its Corporate Governance practices, which testifies to the transparency, clarity and quality of information available to the market. This performance was recognized with an Honorable Mention and the prize was delivered during the event held at the BM & FBOVESPA Auditorium, in São Paulo (November 26).
The governance model adopted by EDP is based on the recommendations of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).
