Você S/A magazine recognized EDP for its internal changes and for the consolidation of a more collaborative and humane culture

For the second consecutive time, EDP Brasil, a company that operates in all segments of the electric value chain, was voted by Voc S/A magazine as one of the best 150 companies to work for in Brazil. The list recognizes practices and experiences that foster more engagement and pride in working for the company.

According to EDP Brasil CEO Miguel Setas, credit is due to all workers. "It is with great satisfaction that we receive this recognition. This achievement is due to the dedication of our workers to a corporate culture that has engaged everyone in defining a common purpose: "Using our energy to provide better services" is one of the principles that guide our everyday work, making EDP one of the best companies to work for."

The company goals and targets, which were previously focused on financial results, are now part of a program called "Targets with a Purpose" and comprise other dimensions such as people, customers, business partners, community, and the environment.

EDP employees are part of this new journey, which has included the definition of 12 principles that represent the company core values. Moreover, one of the highlights of the research conducted by Voc S/A is the proximity between senior executives and employees. The President often creates open dialogue meetings, encouraging transparency, participation, and alignment.

Now in its 21st edition, the list of the Best 150 Companies to Work for assesses employee satisfaction and motivation in the workplace, and is the only organizational climate survey in the country with a qualitative element: the journalist visit to the companies.
