EDP listed in the BM&FBovespa Corporate Sustainability Index for the 11th consecutive year

The company is once again awarded for its socio-environmental responsibility and good corporate governance practices

EDP, a company engaged in energy generation, trading, services and supply, was once again listed in the BM&FBovespa Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) in recognition of its socio-environmental responsibility and good corporate governance practices.

This is the 11th consecutive year the company has made it to the index, which certifies sustainability-committed companies and ranks them according to quality, commitment to sustainable development, fairness, transparency and accountability, product nature, and business performance from an economic, social, environmental and climate change perspective.

"Being listed in the ISE portfolio for the 11th consecutive year strengthens our commitment to all stakeholders, for a balanced and sustainable operation. The continuity of our socio-environmental responsibility strategy proved to be crucial for this performance," says EDP CEO Miguel Setas.

The company commitment to sustainability was also confirmed by the Group 9th consecutive listing on the Dow Jones World Sustainability Index (DJSI World), reflecting EDP efforts to implement the best practices in all business units and regions where it operates.
