EDP is highlighted in the 2016 Abrasca Awards
For the second consecutive year, the Group's good practices are recognized by the award
EDP, a company engaged in energy generation, trading, solutions and supply, is listed in the 18th edition of the Abrasca Awards, bestowed by the Brazilian Association of Publicly-Held Companies. More specifically, the company excels in the Strategy and Investments category.
The clarity and thoroughness of the information in the company Annual Report, as well as its relation with stakeholders, reflects the Group commitment to accounting transparency. This approach yielded an Honorable Mention in the 2016 edition of the award, bestowed this week in S‹o Paulo.
EDP Corporate Governance model was recognized by the awards committee in 2015. Created in 1999, the purpose of the Abrasca Award is to foster better and more innovative reporting with greater information clarity, transparency, quality, and quantity.
