EDP Brasil participates in the debate on Smart Grid and Innovation

Event that begins on Tuesday (18) will be attended by company executives to discuss new technologies and industry transformations.

In line with its objective of disseminating the culture of innovation, EDP Brasil, a company that operates in the areas of energy generation, distribution, commercialization and solutions, participates in the Smart Grid Forum 2016 - XI Latin American Smart Grid Forum, event that starts this Tuesday (18) in S‹o Paulo.

On the first day of the meeting, Joselino Santana Filho, operational manager of the group engineering and technological development, will be one of the panel speakers on "Regulation and Industry News - Technology Promoting the Global Transformation of Energy Business", which takes place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday (19), at 2:30 p.m., EDP Bandeirante executive manager of engineering and systems, Denis Mollica, will also be present at the table "Analitics and IT - The Cognitive Tools that allow Interpretation Beyond Human Amplitude".

The Latin American Smart Grid Forum aims to discuss the modernization of networks and services in a sustainable manner, taking into consideration the technical, economic, environmental, political, legal and social aspects, with a business-oriented perspective for the deployment of technology. The theme of this year edition of the event will be "new energy technologies entering the scene to enable smart cities and the internet of things."
