EDP Brasil to participate in Sustainability Talk

EDP Brasil CEO Miguel Setas will participate in a debate to discuss the importance of stakeholder management

EDP Brasil, a company engaged in energy generation, trading, services and supply, moves towards its goal of disseminating the best corporate sustainability practices among partners and employees. On Thursday 13, the company leaders will meet with specialists to discuss the importance of stakeholder management for quality results. The initiative is part of the Sustainability Talk program, a series of lectures with group executives and invited partners.

The meeting will include a debate on how to incorporate stakeholder expectations into business strategies for shared value creation. Recognizing the importance of stakeholder management for business continuity, either to mitigate risks or to identify opportunities, is a crucial step for engaging employees.

The presentations will be made by Miguel Relvas - CEO of EDP; Nuno Rebelo de Sousa - EDP Institutional and Stakeholder Relations Director; Guido Zamalloa - EDP Executive Manager for Construction; Luis Carlos Piassi - Institutional and Governmental Relations Consultant; and Marcus Nakagawa - President of the Brazilian Association of Sustainability Professionals (ABRAPS). Sonia Cardoso - EDP Executive Manager for Sustainability - will moderate the debate.
