EDP Brasil, a company engaged in energy generation, transmission, trading, services and supply, has once again made it to the FTSE4Good list, an index that acknowledges the companies with the best sustainability practices and corporate social responsibility policies.

The company was recognized for its performance in several Environmental, Social and Governance (ASG) criteria, particularly in areas such as: respecting and promoting Human Rights, ensuring good working conditions, fighting corruption, and mitigating/adapting to climate change. "Once again, being listed on the FTSE4Good index reflects and reiterates before the financial market the consistent path that EDP is taking towards sustainability," says EDP Executive Manager for Sustainability S—nia Cardoso.

Created in 2001, the FTSE4Good index aims to be a world-recognized tool for investors who seek to identify opportunities in companies that meet corporate responsibility requirements. The index also provides investment managers with a benchmark metric for responsible investments from a socio-environmental perspective. Finally, FTSE4Good promotes the implementation of responsible business practices around the world.
