EDP Brasil attends the 17th Energy Summit
Company executives discuss innovation, the current scenario, and the challenges facing the sector
On September 19 and 20, the capital of S‹o Paulo will host the 17th Energy Summit, the main event that catalyzes information and debate on the Brazilian energy market.
EDP, a company that operates in the areas of electric energy generation, distribution, commercialization and solutions, will actively participate in the discussion of relevant issues such as the current scenario, challenges and innovation in the electricity sector.
On September 19, Michel Itkes, CEO of EDP Bandeirante and EDP Escelsa, will participate in Conversation with Presidents, to discuss the visions and challenges facing the leaders of some country main electricity companies. In this debate, the executive will present assessments on recent issues of major relevance to the energy market.
Meanwhile, in the panel Digital Transformation in the Electric Sector, Jo‹o Brito Martins, the company Director of Strategy, Innovation and Organization, will address how the new technologies Smart Grids, Big Data and the Internet of Things are revolutionizing the generation, transmission and distribution of energy, in addition to analyzing measures to enable and stimulate innovation in the various segments.
