EDP Brasil announces new Finance and Espírito Santo Distributor Executives
Eduardo Masson Martins joins the Finance Board; João Brito Martins appointed General Director of the Group's distributor in Espírito Santo
S‹o Paulo, March 02, 2017 - EDP Brasil, a company engaged in energy generation, trading, services and supply, starts the year with changes in the executive board and announces two new leaders: Eduardo Masson de Andrade Martins (Board of Finance) and and Jo‹o Brito Martins (the company distributor in Esp’rito Santo).
Eduardo Masson joins the company as Financial Director, a position in which he will be responsible for the entire Financial Structure and Financial Services area. Over the past 18 years, Eduardo has had several experiences in different sectors of the economy, such as telecommunications, aviation and environmental services, in addition to the electric power sector.
Jo‹o Brito Martins takes on the challenge of running the operations of EDP Espirito Santo, a concessionaire that supplies over 1.5 million customers and covers 90% of the state of Esp’rito Santo. Until now, he held the position of EDP Director for Strategy, Innovation and Organization. An economist with an MBA from IMD (Switzerland), Jo‹o Brito has served several positions in the Group over the last 12 years, both in Portugal and in Brazil, in the areas of strategic marketing, pricing, and business planning and development.
