EDP opens a call for entrepreneurs from Espírito Santo interested in participating in the mapping of startups in the State

The objective is to map companies active in Espírito Santo, in addition to bringing together local experts to analyze the scenario of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region

EDP, a company that operates throughout the electricity sector's value chain, is preparing to launch an exclusive study of startups in Espírito Santo. The project is partnered with Liga Ventures, the main bridge to foster entrepreneurship in Brazil and a pioneer in the creation of sectorial maps for startups. For 12 months, the Startup Scanner tool will promote a dynamic and constant mapping of the region's innovation and entrepreneurship scenario. The initiative is part of a series of strategic calls and mapping of ecosystems that EDP is promoting.

Local supporters of the survey will be: FindesLab, Sebrae ES, MCI (Capixaba Mobilization for Innovation), Base27 – Engineering and Construction Innovation Hub, SECTIDES (Secretary of Science, Technology, Innovation, Professional Education and Economic Development) and have as main objective to map the startups active in the state, in addition to bringing together local experts to promote an analysis of the innovation and entrepreneurship scenario, pointing out the main challenges and opportunities in the Espírito Santo region.

From the study, it will be possible to follow almost in real time the main movements of different sectors in the state, check the categories with the highest number of solutions, in addition to the cities with the highest concentration of startups. Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the mapping will be able to register for free from October 25 until November 8.
