EDP supports third edition of Autismo Tech [Autism Tech]

Event will haveDigital Learning Paths with 100% online classes and Hackathon, offering a R$ 20 thousand prize to the best teams

 

In line with its diversity strategy, EDP, a company that operates in the entire chain of the electricity industry, will support the third edition of Autismo Tech. This is an initiative of FIAP, aTIP and Humanized Inclusion, and will hold a Hackathon and Digital Learning Paths in Technology Careers, designed for neurodiverse people, with a focus on individuals within the autistic spectrum.

Free sign up is available at the event websitehttps://www.autismotech.com/before June 20 for the Learning Paths. From July 5th to August 29th, Hackathon will be open for sign up, whereas a R$ 20,000 prize will be offered to the winning teams. 

Digital Learning Paths in Technology Careers

The paths will cover three topics: QA (Software Testing), Games and Salesforce Developer. In a total of 120 hours of training, the paths are based on bootcamps, immersive teaching programs, highlighting relevant skills and techniques in certain areas.

The names of the 60 selected participants will be published on the event website and on the Autism Tech profiles on social networks, from July 1st to 9th.  And classes will be taught from July 12 to September 24, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, via the FIAP On and Zoom platforms. 

The 120 hours of training will be divided into 11 weeks, with live and recorded classes. The schedules of the activities will be flexible, observing the characteristics of the neurodiverse people. Thus, the participant will be able to choose the best time to avoid overload. With 75% or more access to the content, participants will receive certificates of completion. In addition, there will be recruitment actions with supporting and sponsoring companies.

Hackathon 2021
Signing up for the Hackathon can be made from July 5 to August 29 through the TAIKAI platform, an online product for open innovation projects, such as programming marathons and prototype development that was born in Portugal and is gaining traction in Brazil. Selected teams will be announced from August 30th to September 24th. The marathon will take place from October 4th to 10th. The R$ 20,000 prize will be shared among the three best teams, who will also receive vouchers valid for one year for conducting immersive FIAP SHIFT courses.

Hackathon is a marathon of developing solutions to solve real and complex problems through technology, and still impact organizations and even society in general. A Hackathon involves innovation, challenges, awards and recognition.
