EDP opens registration for Internship Program with 100% virtual selection and half of the places for black students

The company offers 54 vacancies in the states of São Paulo, Espírito Santo and Rio Grande do Sul. Interns will start to work in 2021

EDP, a company that operates in all segments of the Brazilian electricity sector, opens this Wednesday (12th) the registration for the internship program. The Company offers opportunities in several business areas and enables constant development and learning. In line with the guidelines of its Inclusion & Diversity Program, the company will allocate 50% of vacancies to black students. All stages, including interviews and dynamics, will be carried out online, in order to preserve the candidates. The interns will join the company in 2021.

Those selected will occupy 43 vacancies in the state of São Paulo (26 in the capital, 12 in São José dos Campos, two in Poá, one in Guarulhos, one in Mogi das Cruzes and one in Taubaté); nine in Espírito Santo (seven in Vitória and two in the municipality of Serra) and one in Rio Grande do Sul (in Porto Alegre). There are several areas of expertise such as legal, accounting, engineering and auditing. EDP's internship program lasts for one year and can be renewed for up to the same period.

The EDP Internship program includes an allowance compatible with the market, meal vouchers, transportation vouchers, flexible working hours, life insurance and medical assistance. The selection process will take place in five stages: registration, requirements analysis, online testing, evaluation and interview.

In Espírito Santo, in Vitória, the company has seven internship opportunities in Asset Management; Collection and Default (Communication); Collection and Default (Technology); Engineering and Technological Development; AT Projects and Construction; Maintenance Planning Technician MT/BT ** and People Management. In the municipality of Serra, opportunities are directed to Control Systems and Control Systems Technician.

In São Gonçalo do Amarante (CE) there are two open positions: Accounts Payable and Execution Technician. Finally, in Porto Alegre (RS), the selection takes place for Solution Engineering.

 

Requirements to participate

  • Availability to work from 20 to 30 hours per week (the workload is relative to the need of the area);
  • Expected completion of graduation from December/2021 and be at least in the 2nd year of the course;
  • Intermediate Office Package (Word, Excel and Power Point)
