EDP Espírito Santo is elected the best company in the electric energy segment

The XXI Consumidor Moderno [Modern Consumer] Award made recognition for Excellence in Customer Services. The awards ceremony will be held in July, in digital format

EDP, an electric energy distributor in Espírito Santo, was elected winner of the XXI Modern Consumer Award for Excellence in Customer Services in the Electricity segment. Conducted by Consumidor Moderno magazine, in partnership with the Standard Intelligence Center (CIP) and OnYou - one of the most highly qualified companies in quality auditing in the country - the XXI Modern Consumer Award for Excellence in Customer Services nationally attests to corporate excellence in customer and consumer management.

During the analysis process, companies go through an extensive study of the entire ecosystem of customer service and provision of services to their customers and, through their own methodology, at the end of the process, they are also evaluated, through the Hidden Client, main contact and relationship channels of each company with its consumers, as well as the performance of market segments.

For EDP, the recognition reflects the company's commitment to serving the 1.5 million consumers in Espírito Santo with excellence. The Company has developed and expanded in recent years the offer of new digital channels, in order to more comfortably meet the needs of customers, such as the Speech Analytics tool, the “DialMyApp” solution, the transfer of Customer Service calls to agencies, chatbot, among other solutions.

In the State, EDP made investments in its concession area in the last five years that totaled R $ 1.3 billion and is responsible for the generation of about 4 thousand direct and indirect jobs. The Company also implemented the first autonomous system for monitoring and analyzing electrical networks in the country, using state-of-the-art drones to inspect the grids.

This year, the award ceremony of the XXI Modern Consumer Award for Excellence in Customer Services will have an unprecedented and 100% digital format, and will be held on July 14.
