Ethics Line

This is a fundamental tool for strengthening a culture of transparency and ethics. The reports are received by an independent and specialized company, ensuring absolute confidentiality (in portuguese)

Integrity Policy

It aims to define the general principles of action and the duties of EDP Group companies, their employees and business partners in order to prevent the commission of illegal criminal acts and contraventions (in portuguese).

Pilars of Compliance Program

Regulatory Instruments

These are documents that provide guidelines for employees and third parties acting on behalf of the company. They address conduct associated with the practice of corruption and bribery crimes, money laundering, terrorist financing and anti-competitive practices in order to prevent the practice of illicit acts.

Training and Communications

We foster a culture of ethics through training and transversal training for all employees. We use all the company's means of communication to convey clear information about integrity and transparency.

Due Diligence

We seek to identify reputational deviations in order to promote business integrity; ethical and legal conduct of business partners; protection from situations of legal and/or ethical violation; guarantee of immediate corrective action and protection of the company's image and reputation.

Monitoring

We regularly monitor interactions with public agents; acceptance of the Code of Ethics; Compliance clause; Due Diligence of counterparties and the Ethics Channel to ensure excellence, control and execution.

Top Management

Leaders are an example and reference for everyone in the company, including in relation to ethics and integrity as values to be considered in our actions. Senior Management monitors the Compliance Program in order to encourage best practices and the fight against illicit acts, bribery and corruption..

 

EDP Group's Compliance

At EDP, we promote a culture of sharing and mutual respect, based on a compliance policy that frames our activity throughout the entire legal and regulatory value chain. 
To this end, the EDP Group is aligned with a zero-tolerance compliance policy, based on a logic of transparency and fairness, in order to prevent and combat illegal acts, such as practices associated with bribery, corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing, among others.
