From Brazil to Portugal

Last year, Rio de Janeiro-based band Sound Bullet was the overall winner in Brazil. The band was founded in 2009 by singer/guitarist Guilherme Gonzalez, bass player Fred Mattos and drummer Pedro Mesquita. The band subsequently added two new members, Henrique Wuensch and Rodrigo Tak-ming on guitar, to become a quintet. Sound Bullet is known for its vibrant chords and energetic drum track, coupled with impressive vocals.

At the finalists in the 2018 edition of EDP Live Bands Brazil included many high-quality bands and in addition to the selecting the winner, the judges decided to grant an honorable mention.
