EDP, an energy distributor from the Vale do Paraiba, Alto Tietê and North Coast of Sao Paulo regions, was elected the third best energy distributor in the country by big energy consumers, according to the Perceived Quality Satisfaction Index (ISQP), organized by the Brazilian Association of Energy Distributors (Abradee). This is the second consecutive year that the company has been voted one of the top three distributors in Brazil.

At the annual survey determines the level of satisfaction among major customers (industries and big business in the A1, A2, A3, A3a and A4 categories) with the quality of products and services provided by Brazilian distributors. Indexes are then generated to compare participating utilities. Overall, 19 companies were assessed between August and December 2018. The awards ceremony was held yesterday (23) in Campinas. 

At the Company was also ranked first place in customer relations engagement with major clients. EDP in São Paulo was voted as having the best customer service team in Brazil. 

Marney Antunes, Managing Director at EDP São Paulo, highlighted the fact that the best possible award is a positive assessment from customers. “For the second consecutive year, our customers have recognized all our hard work and this gives us a real boost. Our ongoing investments and improvements are always planned to cater to the needs of major consumers. The goal is to achieve service excellence that reflects the EDP Culture: The customer is the reason we are here”.

EDP in São Paulo was also ranked among three best Distributors in Brazil in 2017.
