Held between October 18 and 21 at the Arena Shopping Mall in Vitória, Espírito Santo, the event brings together the Brazil’s biggest construction industry companies and is a venue for property sales and smart home solutions.

At the event, EDP will be setting up its “Smart Home” booth, where visitors will be able to find out more about the business models and solutions offered by the Company, such as EDP Wellbeing insurance (guaranteeing R$ 100.00 for each day a beneficiary is hospitalized as the result of an accident, funeral assistance, food baskets worth R$ 600.00, pharmacy discounts and nutritional counseling, including monthly sweepstakes worth up to R$ 15,000), EDP Safe Home insurance (insuring your home against fire, lightning and explosion, ground vehicle impacts and aircraft crashes, helping you with rental costs under certain conditions, with access to an environmentally friendly disposal of furniture and electronic equipment provided by EDP, not to mention the R$ 15,000 monthly sweepstake) and the EDP Secure Account insurance (created to provide support in the event of difficulties, such as unemployment, pays your electricity bills for 3 months, and provides funeral assistance and professional relocation, including the R$ 15,000 sweepstake), as well as an energy usage simulator, comparing your habits with those of other consumers.

At the booth also has an “energy savings simulator”, where visitors can find out more about the financial benefits offered by the Company’s services. EDP’s portfolio includes plans for a wide range of residential, industrial or commercial customers, helping to reduce energy, maintenance, operational and environmental costs.

Onuno Miguel, B2C marketing, products and services manager at EDP, will deliver a talk on Smart Homes on Saturday, 21. The executive will address how the services EDP offers, including home insurance and electric mobility solutions, will help make homes smarter in the future.
